New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday congratulated students who cleared CBSE Class XII Board examinations and urged those disappointed with their scores not to lose hope, saying every setback offers an opportunity to learn and move ahead.
In a message posted on social media after the results were declared, Gupta said, “Heartfelt congratulations to all the students who have succeeded in the
CBSE Class 12th examination, along with heaps of best wishes for a bright future.”
She praised students for achieving the milestone through dedication and perseverance. “Students from Delhi as well as across the entire country have achieved this important milestone through the strength of their hard work, discipline and determination,” she said.
Gupta also addressed students whose scores may not have met their expectations, encouraging them not to be discouraged by their examination outcomes. “Those students whose results have not met their expectations should not feel disheartened. Every experience in life offers an opportunity to move forward, learn, and make oneself even better,” she said.
In her message, the chief minister said students are an important force in the country’s future growth. “All of you are the new strength for a bright future of the country and a developed India,” she said.
CBSE declared the Class 12 board examination results on Wednesday, recording an overall pass percentage of 85.2%. Of the 17.7 lakh students who appeared for the exams, girls outperformed boys once again, recording a pass percentage of 88.8% against 82.1% among boys.
