Students can apply for copies of answer sheets from May 12 for revaluation

Chennai: Students can apply for copies of their answer scripts through their schools from 11am on May 12 to 5pm on May 16. Only those obtaining copies of these answer scripts will be eligible to apply for re-totalling/revaluation scheduled between June 5 and 8, said directorate of govt examinations (DGE) in a circular.It said that private candidates and Class XI (arrear) candidates can apply for the answer scripts through their examination centres on the same dates. Students must pay 275 in cash for each copy at the school through which they are applying. The date to download copies of answer scripts online will be made available on the DGE TN website at a later date. The department also urged school heads to download the statements of marks for their schools from the website from May 13, to be distributed to students after verification of particulars and affixing their signatures and school seals. Students and private candidates can also independently download these statements by logging in with their date of birth and exam registration number from the websites."If there are any errors in the student's name, date of birth, initials, photograph or medium of instruction, the corrections should be made by the headmaster/headmistress and kept ready. The corrected statements should then be attested and issued to students," the circular read.
