Haryana likely to witness light rain, gusty winds between May 11 & 13

Hisar: Weather conditions in Haryana are expected to remain changeable till May 14, according to the agrometeorology department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University.Department head Professor Madan Khichar said a western disturbance was likely to move towards the Himalayan region on May 10, while a cyclonic circulation was expected to develop over Rajasthan. Due to its partial impact, Haryana may witness partly cloudy weather along with intermittent winds from May 11-13. The department has also predicted light rain or drizzle accompanied by thunder and lightning at isolated places across the state during this period. While daytime temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, night temperatures may witness a slight rise, the forecast said. Agricultural experts have advised farmers to remain alert in view of the changing weather conditions and plan farming activities accordingly.
