Gujarat board announces Class 12 supplementary exam schedule

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has announced the supplementary examination schedule for Class 12 science and general stream for 2026, offering another opportunity to students who were absent or failed in one or more subjects in the Feb-March examinations.The supplementary examinations are scheduled to be conducted in the second week of June.Students who have already passed the examinations but wish to improve their scores are also eligible to apply for the supplementary exams.According to the Board, the application process will be conducted entirely online through schools via the official GSHSEB website. The last date for registration and payment of fees is May 14. The board has clarified that no applications will be accepted in person or through post, making online submission mandatory for all schools.The state govt has waived examination fees for girls and differently-abled candidates. However, such students are still required to complete the online registration process to be considered eligible for the examinations.Meanwhile, the board has also started the process for marks verification for Class 10 students whose results were declared on May 6. Students seeking rechecking of marks can apply online through the Board's website between May 8 and May 15.Board officials said applications for marks verification will only be accepted online and candidates must pay the prescribed fees online.
