Anoop Menon confirms a sequel to ‘Beautiful’; a different actor to replace Jayasurya

The 2011 film 'Beautiful' is getting a sequel, directed by VK Prakash. Anoop Menon, who was the scenarist for the original film, announced the sequel via social media. Jayasurya will not be part of the cast, and a new actor will replace his role. The rest of the cast is yet to be revealed. The film will be shot in Vancouver, Canada, starting in January 2024. The crew from the original film, including Jomon T John, Mahesh Narayanan, Ajay Mangad, Mridul Nair, Vinay Govind, Sajimon, and ratheesh vega, will also be part of the sequel.
