Jayasurya’s Round Jayan becomes Pullu Giri in Thrissur Pooram

After a slew of emotional dramas, Jayasurya will next be seen in an action entertainer. The actor is currently shooting for Thrissur Pooram, which is directed by Rajesh Mohanan and scripted by music director Ratheesh Vega.
While the makers had earlier announced that Jayasurya’s larger than life character in the film will be called Round Jayan, they have changed it to Pullu Giri.
On the character, Jayasurya recently told us, “Pullu Giri is 100% mass and Thrissur Pooram is the biggest film I have done. If Aadu was made on a budget of Rs 10Cr, this is even bigger. Also, Ratheesh Vega is scripting the film and R D Rajasekhar, who has cranked the camera for movies like Ghajini and Iru Mugan, is part of the movie.”
