Three persons were arrested by the police on Wednesday in two cases registered under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. While two persons were arrested by Ernakulam Town South police, the other person was arrested by Perumbavoor police.

In a major seizure of ganja, Ernakulam Rural police seized nearly 250kg of the contraband while it was being smuggled in a tanker truck on Friday. Police arrested one person in connection with the incident.
