What H-1B visa data reveals on how much Apple pays engineers, designers and for other tech roles
Apple is one of the most valuable companies in the world. The iPhone maker, with a market capitalization of over $3 trillion, is currently hiring for hundreds of AI and machine learning roles. A federal filing with the US Department of Labor in the second quarter of the year obtained by Business Insider revealed that a machine learning engineer or researcher at Apple can earn up to $312,200 (approx. Rs 2.73 crore) in base pay. A data scientist can make as much as $322,400, while software development engineers can receive up to $378,700. Human interface designers can earn as much as $468,500. Along with salaries, Apple employees receive stock grants and product discounts. However, the salary data from the filing does not include equity or other benefits, and applies only to foreign hires.
