Members of Indian and Bangladeshi Hindu communities gathered outside the Bangladesh High Commission in London to protest against reported violence targeting Hindus in Bangladesh. The protest, organised by the Bengali Hindu Adarsha Sangha (BHAS) UK, called for international attention and action over alleged persecution of religious minorities. Demonstrators raised slogans, chanted the Hanuman Chalisa and used digital vans to display messages highlighting concerns over human rights. BHAS UK said people from diverse backgrounds, including students, professionals, families and interfaith representatives, took part in the peaceful demonstration. Protesters also played Bangladesh’s national anthem during the event. Separately, a small group identified as Khalistan supporters appeared at the site, chanting slogans and waving flags. The London demonstration came amid a series of protests in India over the reported incidents in Bangladesh.
