Leavitt made the announcement through her social media on Friday with a number of photos emanating love and emotion. In one of the photos, Leavitt appeared wearing a white sweater dress and standing in front of a Christmas tree with her hands set on her baby bump. She was seen with her husband, Nick, and their son, Nico, born in July 2024.She also expressed her thanks along with her photographs for the support she is getting at her workplace.

According to the same publication, this will be a historical moment for Leavitt to set, as she will be the first pregnant press secretary for the White House.
