Neeraj Chopra and Himan Mor are setting new wedding standards, and honestly, we’re loving their new rulebook. The couple got married on January 16 this year but hosted their wedding reception after a whole year. With no big show and glamour, they unfolded this event in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and kept the celebration understated, elegant, and absolutely poised.Surprisingly, their outfits also carried the same magic, where the duo chose subtle glam and made their looks unforgettable. The celebration and their ensembles carried a sense of national pride with respectable personal intimacy, which reflected the stature of India’s Olympic hero and his well-accomplished partner.

For the celebration, the couple did not choose the usual Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi outfits but turned to the late designer Rohit Bal’s collection, which was known for his artistic drive and alluring motifs. They wore pieces from the Kash-Gul collection, which felt symbolic, emotional, and iconic. This collection was one of the finest ranges of Rohit Bal and was showcased at India Couture Week 2025. It stands as one of Rohit Bal’s final love letters to Indian couture, which drew inspiration from his Kashmiri roots, the beauty of the state, and the lyrical romance of Gulistan, making every piece a standout one.
The bride of the hour opted for a long black velvet jacket featuring resham embroidery and a signature fauna motif. The silhouette remained strong yet fluid, allowing the craftsmanship to take the lead without creating an overwhelming edge. Lastly, the embroidery felt alive and carried an iconic narrative, which further anchored the hints of timeless luxury with a sense of drama. Neeraj Chopra, on the other hand, complemented her in a black velvet sherwani that redefined masculine elegance. This pièce de résistance was enhanced with a hand-embroidered leopard motif, explored in gold sequins with intricate threadwork. This leopard charm is a perfect match for his personality because it shows quiet strength and controlled power.

Together, their outfits created a visual harmony and felt intimate and intentional and were a reminder that true style lies in coherence and not in being all over the place.Their appearance was more than just fashion, but it became a storytelling tool, just like their pastel wedding outfits, where the duo effortlessly coordinated in soft pink hues and narrated a tale of romance and warmth.
