MPs decry 'pro-Hitler' NCERT books
NEW DELHI: NCERT school texts depicting Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler as a hero and nationalist came in for flak from Lok Sabha members on Monday.
Making a mention of a news report in The Times of India during zero hour, V Radhakrishnan (CPM) said in the new school textbooks, Hitler had been described as a champion of nationalism and socialism, overlooking the extermination of millions of Jews in gas chambers. He claimed that the school books contained many such inaccuracies.
