RJD workers kill truck helper to seize vehicle
PATNA: Even as RJD supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav warned partymen against harassing traders, a truck helper was shot dead by his partymen in Ara on Monday while seizing a bus to ferry participants for the ''Maharailla'' rally.
Sources at police headquarter said the incident took place at around 3 a.m. The truck, which was on its way to Satna in Madhya Pradesh, was stopped by RJD men in Ara. The driver tried to flee when stopped and was allegedly beaten mercilessly and his helper shot dead.
Ara police said it is looking for the RJD men responsible for the killing.
