Gorakhpur: United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Rome Centre has officially recognised Anil Pratap Singh, a resident of Basti and founder of Global Science Academy, as a featured Global Mentor for the ‘Youth4Climate’ initiative.
Singh’s expertise has been showcased on the official UNDP portal as part of the global launch of the ‘Call for Mentors 2026’ programme. His featured testimonial highlights the importance of creating a sustainable legacy through mentorship by bridging the gap between scientific innovation and climate policy to inspire a new generation of climate leaders across the world.
A veteran environmentalist, Singh is among a select group of international experts chosen to provide strategic guidance and mentorship to young climate innovators globally.
“Mentorship is not just about sharing knowledge; it is about building a collective impact that transcends borders,” Singh said.
The international recognition is being viewed as a significant achievement for both Uttar Pradesh and India in the field of environmental advocacy and climate action, further strengthening their presence in the global sustainability discourse.
