Water supply to be disrupted

T'puram: Due to installation of a new transformer and urgent maintenance work, production will be halted at Aruvikkara 72 MLD and 75 MLD water treatment plants of Kerala Water Authority.Additionally, work to replace a damaged valve in the main pipeline at Vellayambalam Jn will be carried out. As a result, from 8am on Friday to 6am on Saturday, water supply will be completely disrupted at Valiyathura, Vallakkadavu, Ambalathara, Kamaleswaram, Kalippankulam, Attukal, Manacaud, Sreevaraham, Poonthura, Puthenpally, Beemapally, Thampanoor, Kunnukuzhi, Vanchiyoor, Kannammoola, Pettah, Perunthanni, Chackai, Kadakampally, Karikkakom, Vettucaud, Poundukadavu, Palayam, Sasthamangalam, Vazhuthacaud, Thycaud, Valiyasala, Jagathy, Kannammoola, Kumarapuram, Gowreesapattom, Anamugham, Medical College, Plamoodu, Nanthancode, Peroorkada, Pippinmoodu, Kowdiar, Ambalamukku, Mannammoola, Vazhayila and Indira Nagar wards.Partial disruption will occur in the wards of Paruthippara, Muttada, Kesavadasapuram, Pattom, Ulloor, Medical College and Kudappanakunnu.
