Prince Khan’s property in Wasseypur attached

Dhanbad: A day after a purported threat video targeting Dhanbad senior superintendent of police (SSP) went viral on social media, police intensified their crackdown on absconding gangster Haider Ali alias Prince Khan by carrying out an attachment and seizure operation at his residence in Wasseypur on Friday.The joint operation was conducted by teams from Bank More police station and Bhuli outpost (OP) under heavy police deployment. Officials said the action was taken in compliance with summons and attachment orders issued by the Dhanbad court because of the gangster's continuous absence during legal proceedings.Police officers said Prince has been absconding for a long time and faces multiple criminal cases, including murder, extortion, firing and criminal intimidation. As he repeatedly failed to appear before the court, the judiciary ordered attachment of his property.SSP Prabhat Kumar said police action against the Prince Khan gang has been intensified and strict action is being taken against his associates and aides as well.
