Chatra: A 60-year-old man and his 14-year-old grandson died after an unidentified vehicle coming from the opposite direction rammed into their motorcycle near Kasari More at Bagra village in Chatra district late Sunday.The deceased were identified as Sukar Prajapati, a resident of Jabra village, and Alok Prajapati (14) of Chiridiri village under the Kanhachatti police station limits.Family members of the deceased said Alok had come to his maternal grandfather’s house during school vacation. Voth had gone to Salgi village to attend a reception at a relative’s house. The incident occured while they were returning home.Officer in-charge of the Simaria police station, Surya Pratap Singh, said, “The bodies have been sent to Chatra Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. We have trying to identify the vehicle using CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts.”
