CM’s depts get over 10,600cr as Assembly approves budget
Raipur: Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday stated that the state govt has dedicated the last two years to the service of 'Chhattisgarh Mahtari' and has commenced the journey towards a developed Chhattisgarh. He identified budget management as a critical factor in achieving this goal.Responding to the discussion on the budgetary demands in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, the chief minister noted that while the previous two budgets focused on ‘Gyan' (knowledge) and ‘Gati' (speed), the current budget is centred on the theme of ‘Sankalp'(resolve). He highlighted that the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption and the adoption of digital governance have plugged systemic leakages. Other significant allocations comprise Rs 1,145.89 crore for Mineral Resources, Rs 469.99 crore for Public Relations, Rs 416.99 crore for Electronics and Information Technology, and Rs 314.99 crore for the Aviation Department.
