Centre Confirms All Indian Sailors, Ships Are Safe As LPG Vessels Shivalik, Nanda Devi Dock In India

In a major reassurance, India has confirmed that all its sailors and vessels in the Gulf region are safe. Shipping Ministry official Rajesh Kumar Sinha announced that 161 Indian seafarers have been brought back home, while LPG carriers Shivalik LPG carrier and Nanda Devi LPG tanker have docked successfully. Cargo operations are in full swing, with efficient systems like ship-to-ship discharge ensuring quick distribution. Meanwhile, reports about container pile-ups at Jawaharlal Nehru Port have been rejected as inaccurate. The government emphasised that port logistics remain streamlined. At a time of global uncertainty, India’s ability to secure its sailors and maintain energy supply highlights strong planning and execution. The message is clear: India remains in control, with safety and supply both firmly intact.
