Man murders wife in Akola, nabbed within 10 mins

Akola: A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death following a domestic dispute in Dabki Road police jurisdiction in Akola on Sunday morning. The accused was arrested within 10 minutes of the crime by the police. The incident took place around 8:15 am near Jakat Naka area. The victim, identified as Manda Gudde (45), had gone to purchase milk when her husband, Deepak (50), approached her.A heated argument broke out between the two. In a fit of rage, he accused his wife with a sharp weapon, causing critical injuries. Police reached the spot and shifted the woman to a hospital. However, she succumbed to her injuries. With help of bystanders, police apprehended Deepak within 10 minutes of the crime. A case of murder has been registered under relevant provisions of the law.
