Biker dies after head-on collision with speeding car in Chimur

Chandrapur: A 40-year-old motorcyclist died during treatment after a speeding car allegedly collided head-on on Neri-Shirpur road in Chimur taluka on Sunday evening. Police said the accident briefly disrupted traffic on the route.The victim, Arjun Ambadas Shinde of Pimpalshenda in Yavatmal district, suffered critical injuries in the crash. Local residents rushed to assist him before he was taken to Chimur Sub-District Hospital, where he later succumbed.Chimur police reached the scene, conducted a preliminary investigation, and detained the car driver.
