Kolkata: North-South Metro (Blue Line) services were disrupted for 20 minutes on Friday because of a technical issue in the signals at the Shahid Khudiram station. Officials said the heavy rain in the morning may have been the reason behind the snag at the elevated station.Shahid Khudiram at Briji or Garia Bazar has been serving as the southern terminal of the Blue Line since July 22 last year when the original southern terminal, Kavi Subhash at New Garia, was shut down because one of its platforms developed cracks.
