Woman punches & kicks man for harassing teen daughter in Kanpur market

Kanpur: A woman publically punched and kicked a man for allegedly harassing her 14-year-old daughter in Kanpur’s Bilhaur.In a viral video, the woman was seen punching the accused man 10 times and kicking him in 8 different ways within 34 seconds as he tried to molest her daughter in a market on Tuesday evening. A bystander recorded the action on his mobile and the clip went viral on social media.The woman and her daughter went to the Bilhaur market when the man allegedly harassed the girl. The daughter raised an alarm, following which the mother caught hold of the man, knocked him to the ground and beat him with slippers, kicks and punches.A crowd gathered at the spot during the incident. Some people attempted to intervene.Bilhaur kotwali in-charge Sudhir Kumar said that no written complaint has been received from either party so far. He said that the viral video is being looked into and action will be taken upon receiving a written complaint.
