Two held for gang rape of nine-year-old in Mandsaur

Indore: Two men were arrested allegedly for gangrape of a nine-year-old girl on Tuesday in Mandsaur district.The minor was reportedly alone at her home when a 25-year-old man lured her to his residence. Upon her arrival, he allegedly pulled her inside, where his 40-year-old accomplice was already present. The two men then allegedly raped the girl.Later, the girl narrated the ordeal to her family, who approached Afzalpur police to lodge a formal complaint.The police registered a case and started investigation. During a search of the suspects’ residence conducted based on the survivor’s identification, police recovered material associated with occult practices. Investigators are currently examining whether this element played a role in the crime.Additional superintendent of police TS Baghel stated that the case was being handled with extreme seriousness. He emphasized that all necessary legal steps were being taken to ensure the accused receive the harshest possible punishment.
