BJP suspends 4 party workers in Himachal
Shimla: The BJP on Sunday suspended four workers from its primary membership for allegedly contesting against official party candidates and engaging in anti-party activities during the Solan municipal corporation elections.The suspended workers include Gaurav Rajput, mandal co-incharge of the IT department from ward No. 3; Rajni Rajput, state executive member of the BJP Mahila Morcha; and Rampal and Mukesh Verma from ward No. 7 in Solan.The BJP state president, Rajeev Bindal, ordered the suspension following recommendations from the party's disciplinary committee, which was constituted for the panchayati raj and urban local body elections.MSID:: 130991056 413 |
