A social media post by White House Press secretary Karoline Leavitt announcing the birth of her daughter has triggered a major geopolitical storm. Leavitt shared the news on X, posting a personal message celebrating her newborn and describing the moment as filled with joy and gratitude. However, within hours, the announcement drew a sharp response from Iranian officials. The Iranian Embassy in Armenia issued a statement that both congratulated Leavitt on her daughter’s birth while also referencing the US military strike on an elementary school in Iran's Minab, in which more than 165 people, including children were killed.
