Man stabbed to death after dispute over bike collision
Bhopal: A 20-year-old man died after being allegedly stabbed during a dispute over a minor bike collision by three accused in Chhola Mandir area on Sunday evening, police said. All three accused, including the main accused, have been rounded up.Police identified the deceased as Ajay Lodhi, a resident of Raslakhedi locality, who worked at a private establishment. Investigators said Ajay had an old rivalry with Deepak Thakur, a resident of Sabri Nagar in Bhanpur area.According to police, members of a wedding party came to Raslakhedi for a religious ritual on Sunday evening, and Deepak was also present there. Around 7.30 pm, Deepak’s motorcycle allegedly collided with Nitin Lodhi, causing injuries to him. When Ajay came to know about the incident, he confronted Deepak over the matter. Police said the accused allegedly threatened Ajay before leaving the spot.A short while later, the two sides again came face to face in Raslakhedi, leading to an altercation. During the clash, Deepak allegedly attacked Ajay with a knife, injuring him in the stomach. Ajay collapsed on the spot and was rushed to hospital, where he died during treatment on Monday morning.Police have registered a murder case, and investigations are going on.
