85% turnout for Comed-K UG entrance test

Bengaluru: Around 85% of the registered students appeared for the Comed-K UG entrance test held on Saturday. Comed-K exam holds key to approximately 20,000 seats in about 150 engineering colleges of Karnataka. Uni GAUGE is an entrance exam for participating 30+ private universities in India. ComedK and Uni GAUGE are conducted as a single exam with separate merit lists. The exam was conducted in 2 sessions on Saturday.Total number of candidates who attended the ComedK Engineering Test was 1,10,787 out of 1,30,620. In Karnataka, the attendance was around 88%, while in Bangalore it was 90%. One case of malpractice was reported from a centre in Gujarat, where a candidate was caught with a mobile phone and using ChatGPT. The candidate was debarred from writing the exam.The provisional answer keys will be notified May 13 and the final answer key May 20. The rank card will be available on May 26. MSID:: 130978336 413 |
