Kumaraswamy to take oath as CM, invites opposition heavyweights for ceremony

Following the resignation of BJP leader BS Yeddiyurappa before facing the trust vote, Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy will take oath as Karnataka CM. As a show of unity with other regional parties, Kumaraswamy has invited a large number of opposition leaders to the ceremony. The Congress as well as other regional parties would like to see a united opposition take on the might of BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
