BENGALURU: A Brazilian national has been arrested at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru after officials seized cocaine worth about Rs 24 crore, authorities said.The man was intercepted on Tuesday after arriving from São Paulo via Doha.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said 4.77 kilograms of cocaine was found concealed inside four handbags.According to the federal anti-narcotics agency, the cocaine had been soaked into clothes and packed inside the bags. The seized drugs have an estimated market value of Rs 23.88 crore in India.Cocaine is commonly described as a party drug.Further investigation is under way, the NCB said.
