Pakistani Military Officer Mocked Online After Claiming Strikes On Indian Airbases That Don’t Exist

A Pakistani military officer is facing massive online ridicule after claiming Pakistan successfully struck two Indian airbases during the 2025 India-Pakistan escalation. The officer named Rajouri Airbase and Mamun Airbase as targets. The problem is that neither of those airbases actually exists.Rajouri is a district in Jammu and Kashmir and does not have an operational Indian Air Force base. Mamun, located near Pathankot in Punjab, is a military cantonment and not an airbase. The now viral clip featuring Captain Muneeb Zamal has sparked widespread mockery online, with many sarcastically asking how Pakistan managed to target bases that were never there.The controversy comes amid renewed attention on Operation Sindoor, Pakistan’s Operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos and the reported use of Fatah-1 guided rockets during the conflict. What was meant to project military success has instead turned into a viral moment of embarrassment on social media.
