On Cam: Iranian Drone Bombards UAE-Linked Ship In Hormuz; Video Captures Moment Of IRGC Attack

Iran’s IRGC Navy has released dramatic footage it claims shows an attack drone striking an oil tanker inside the Strait of Hormuz — one of the world’s most sensitive maritime choke points. According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the targeted vessel was allegedly transporting UAE-linked oil and petrochemical products and attempted to cross the strategic waterway without Iranian “permission or clearance.” The footage reportedly shows a Ra’ad-3 one-way attack drone hitting the tanker’s funnel section. The development comes amid rising tensions across the Gulf, with Tehran repeatedly warning that any pressure on its oil exports or military escalation near Hormuz could trigger direct consequences for global shipping routes and energy markets.
