Director Halitha Shameem praised the film 'Chithha' on social media, along with actors Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR. The movie, directed by SU Arun Kumar, explores the love between an uncle and his niece and deals with child sexual abuse. The film stars Siddharth in the lead role and was released in theaters on September 28. 'Chithha' has received positive reviews for its sensitive handling of a sensitive subject and its captivating storyline. Siddharth is also working on other projects including 'Indian 2' and 'Test'.

The Tamil film 'Minmini', directed by Halitha Shameem, is set to release in August after a 6-year journey.
