Halitha Shameem assures fans she is trying her best to bring back the dream pair of Suriya and Jyothika on the big screens

Suriya and Jyothika fell in love while working together, and the lovebirds got married in the year 2006. Until their wedding, the lovable pair acted together in six films, and all were well-received among the audience. Like their on-screen chemistry, the duo shares deep love in real life too, and it can be witnessed when they arrive together for public events. Now, the latest buzz is that director Halitha Shameem is planning to pitch a script to Suriya and Jyothika to bring back the dream pair on the silver screens.




'Sillu Karupatti' which released in December 2019 was a super hit among the audience. The film, which was co-produced by Suriya, was enjoyed by fans from all age groups. Debutant Halitha Shameem, who directed the anthology romantic film, was well appreciated for her nice work. Halitha Shameem has recently said that she will definitely pitch a script to Suriya and Jyothika when a fan enquired about the same on Twitter. Now let’s hope that the young filmmaker will soon bring the favourite pair of many back on the big screens.
Meanwhile, Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' has received the censor certification, and the film is set to release after theaters reopen. Suriya has also signed a couple of films with directors Hari and Vetrimaaran and has his hands full with projects.
