Bags of humans bones, skulls and ash. This was what 150 firemen salvaged from the charred remains of a denim factory in Narol which was till a few hours ago a burning cauldron. The worst Ahmedabad has seen in last 15 years, in which seven people lost their lives. It took the firemen of Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) 15 hours to douse the fire but could not save these precious seven lives who struggled to get out of this three-floor factory made of metal shed with only a single entry and exit. The ordeal for the relatives of the dead was even more. They now wait for DNA tests to be carried out on the charred remains so that they can carry back with them their loved ones in bags of bones.
