Two doctors win award at IAPSC conference

SURAT: Two resident doctors from department of preventive and social medicine (PMS) at Government Medical College (GMC) here were awarded at the 17th annual conference of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSC), Gujarat chapter, held on January 22 and 23 in Rajkot.
Dr Sridhar R P's paper on Out of Pocket Expenditure and Opportunity Cost of Leptospirosis Patients at New Civil Hospital, Surat' was awarded H M Patel Memorial Young Scientist Award.Dr Hinal Baria won second prize in HIV thematic session for research paper on A study of STD syndrome in female sex workers of Surat city.'
