Verizon is offering these customers Nintendo Switch and other devices for free: How to claim the rewards
Verizon, a US-based telecommunications service provider, is offering a free Nintendo Switch console and other devices with new or upgraded internet subscriptions. However, these rewards are available only to Verizon internet subscribers who choose Verizon Fios, 5G Home Ultimate, or LTE Home Plus. This holiday treat deal is also giving away a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G or a Samsung 43-inch Q7F TV instead of a Nintendo Switch. Lastly, internet subscribers can enjoy a guaranteed five-year price lock. If you plan to upgrade your internet service or explore other providers, now is the time.
According to a ZDNet report, new Verizon customers can get a free Nintendo Switch if they opt for an Fios, 5G Home Ultimate, or LTE Home Plus internet plan that starts at $35 per month. Meanwhile, Verizon accounts for customers who are planning to upgrade their internet plans must also be in good standing for at least 14 days. The company retains the right to charge customers the full retail cost of the Nintendo Switch console if they cancel their plan within 180 days.
However, for customers who already have a Nintendo Switch or do not consider themselves gamers, Verizon has offered alternatives. In this case, a free Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G tablet or a 43-inch Samsung Q7F TV will be provided. However, only a single Nintendo Switch will be available per account at Verizon due to limited supply.
The Verizon deal includes a free Nintendo Switch if consumers sign up for a Fios 2 Gig, Fios 1 Gig, 5G Home Ultimate, or LTE Home Plus plan by December 23. But since the gaming console is in high demand, the promotion may expire even before the given date.
Verizon Fios is Verizon’s residential internet service that uses fibre-optic technology to provide high-speed, reliable internet connections. Verizon Fios offers speeds from 300 Mbps to 2 Gbps. This enables one to connect all their gadgets to enjoy internet services without experiencing delays.
The 5G Home Ultimate includes features such as unlimited data and support for the fastest 5G speeds available in the client’s region. For areas that do not support either Fios or 5G networks, 4G LTE Home Plus is available, offering basic internet speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
