New England Patriots legend Tom Brady recently made headlines with a throwback post about gifting his son, Benjamin Rein Brady, a timeless masterpiece. Brady surprised his son with a Jacob & Co. Billionaire Mini Ashoka watch estimated at $3 million. It is reportedly one of only 18 pieces worldwide. The watch features a white gold case and bracelet set with 480 Ashoka-cut diamonds, totaling over 100 carats.At the time [February 2025], the NFL legend wore a Jacob & Co. Caviar Tourbillon timepiece in yellow sapphires reportedly worth $740K for his debut as Super Bowl commentator in 2025’s Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game. Tom Brady auctioned Patek Philippe, Rolex, IWC, and Audemars Piguet watches

Mykenna Maniece of Business Insider reported in December 2024 that Brady auctioned 21 of his watches at Sotheby’s, along with 20 other treasures from his football career: a jersey from his final game at the University of Michigan, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey he wore when he broke the NFL’s passing yards record, his NFL Combine shirt, and a helmet from his last NFL season.
His collection reportedly generated $9 million, with the watches selling for $4.6 million.“Watches were the main story and drew the most value,” WatchGuys CEO Robertino Altieri told Business Insider. “Seeing Tom Brady attach watches to the sports world as well is huge.” Brady’s most expensive watch sold was the Rolex Daytona Paul Newman ‘John Player Special,’ reportedly priced at $1.14 million. The seven-time Super Bowl champion wore it at the 2023 home opener when New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced that Brady would be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in June 2023. The watch was named after a legendary 1970s Formula 1 livery because of its black-and-gold combination. And its iconic Paul Newman Art Deco-style exotic dial gives it a vintage appeal. Next, the custom-made Audemars Piguet was sold for $720,000, though Altieri expected it to cross $1 million. The Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon features Brady’s name set in caliber-cut and baguette diamonds. It has the number 7 in Roman numerals, nodding to his Super Bowl wins. And it also displays his signature on the rotor. Brady wore this watch during his May 2024 Netflix comedy/documentary show, “The Greatest Roast of All Time: The Roast of Tom Brady.IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition “SFTI,” estimated at $10,000 by Sotheby’s, sold for $42,000. Brady wore this masterpiece at the Super Bowl 2021 boat parade in Tampa Bay after his seventh [and final] championship win. Brady has been a loyal IWC customer, purchasing the IWC GST Chronograph Rattrapante, IWC GST Automatic Alarm, and Panerai Luminor Marina from the Tourneau store in Manhattan after his first Super Bowl win in 2002. He was an IWC ambassador from 2019 to 2023.Another timeless masterpiece from Gisele Bundchen’s ex-husband, Tom Brady, sold at auction is his Patek Philippe TBXII Grand Comp, retailed by Tiffany & Co.
