Anupamaa actres Shiwani Chakraborty on her milestones in 2025: Always manifested doing a one-on-one scene with Rupali ji, and when it finally happened, I felt both excited and scared
As 2025 is nearing its end, actor Shiwani Chakraborty, who is seen as Meeta in Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa, says 2025 came with a lot of lessons. While it taught her to be optimistic, it also made her more empathetic. She said, "The lesson I can say is that you have to be very positive throughout. Keeping a positive mindset is very important because this life is unpredictable. We have heard many, many things in 2025; anything can happen anytime. I have learned that you must have empathy. And you have to be very kind and a good listener, and it is very important to have love for your work."

"It is very important to be grateful for everything in life. So this is the lesson I have received: that you have to keep going on. The show must go on; whether you know you have difficulties in life, problems will come and go. But you have to move on with a smile on your face and just remember this: be a good human being, and this shall pass. This time will also go. Bad times will also go, because when good times do not stay forever, bad times also do not stay forever. Also, if you have good people, a bunch of people, and family, and you are strong, then everything is possible," she added.
She said, “2025 wasn’t about one big moment for me; it was made up of many small milestones. Every scene has its own feeling and energy. There were moments when I realised that this was where I needed to give my absolute best, especially in front of Anupamaa. I remember a scene where I entered the Shah House with the police, and I kept thinking, ‘Oh my God, how will I perform in front of Anupamaa?’ I had always manifested doing a one-on-one scene with Rupali ji, and when it finally happened, I felt both excited and scared. But that day, I stepped out of my comfort zone and, for the first time, I acted from a completely new place, not out of habit."After that I performed every scene the same way. Also I would like to talk about relationship milestones because connection is very important. When bonds are created on set, each and every co-actor is not only doing scenes together, but they are also sharing bonds and realisations that they can't do alone. There is also a thought that I know I can't do this scene without them, or they can't do it without me. In the journey you have to be grounded, and that itself is always a milestone. You cannot say that only this one scene was the milestone or that I got one very big scene and that was the milestone. It is a mixture of everything. It is a vibe, you can say, the journey of your character," she added. With 2025 ending soon, Shiwani is full of gratitude. She said, "I am grateful for every small thing. It is not necessary that you should be grateful only for very big things. You should also be grateful for small things. I am grateful for such a nice journey, good work, and support that I've got from my family and my loved ones. People are loving me. I am grateful that I have reached that position where I can tell people that yes, I can do this."She added, “I’m truly thankful for all the support I’ve received. Without it, I might have broken down, but I stayed strong. This year brought many challenges and tough phases, yet I’m still standing firm. I’m grateful for every hardship because it shaped me. Above all, I’m thankful to be alive and to feel content and happy.”One thing that you would like to leave behind in 2025? "We can say I would love to leave all the negativity around in 2025—all the negative thoughts, all the negative people, and all the negative relationships. I just want to get rid of all this and move with peace and empathy and a strong mindset and positivity that yes, 2026 will be a bang-on year and I will rock it and everything is going to be good," she said."By pushing the negativity back and leaving all the problems here, I just want to move forward with a good thought and a good heart, moving towards 2026," Shiwani ended.
