Max Verstappen has finally immersed himself in Christmas and New Year festivities with his family. The Red Bull Racing star took some time off to enjoy the holiday season, even heading out for a fun drive in a Mercedes-AMG to make it back home just in time for Christmas at his new residence. His girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, has now shared a glimpse of their festive celebrations, which are particularly special as they mark the first Christmas for their seven-month-old baby girl, Lily. Piquet also shared a picture of Verstappen proudly showing off a graphic T-shirt, which appears to be his Christmas gift this year.

To wish her fans on Christmas, Kelly Piquet shared a perfect family picture with Max Verstappen and her two daughters Penelope and Lily in frame. She wrote along with it, "Lily’s first Christmas and the first as a family of four. The family I always dreamed of. This time of year can feel loud for some and very quiet for others. Whether you’re celebrating, surviving, missing someone, or simply taking a breath… I’m sending warmth and kindness your way. However this season looks for you, it’s valid and you’re not alone."Taking to her Instagram Stories on Friday, Kelly also posted a picture of Max Verstappen holding up a black T-shirt.
The graphic on the shirt seemed to reflect Verstappen’s devil-may-care personality, as it featured an image of him smoking a cigarette, wearing funky glasses, holding a trophy in one hand, and making a cheeky gesture with the other.

Max Verstappen opts for a new car number in F1

In Formula 1, Max Verstappen will be racing with car number ‘3’, as the four-time world champion has given up his iconic ‘1’ to the new F1 world champion, Lando Norris. Speaking about his decision to switch to number 3, Max revealed in his end-of-year interview on Viaplay, “It won't be number 33. My favourite number has always been 3, apart from number 1. We can now swap, so it’ll be number 3. Number 33 was always fine, but I just like one 3 better than two. I always said it represented double luck, but I've already had my luck in Formula 1.”Verstappen is now set to return to the track for the new season, which begins with the Australian Grand Prix in March. He narrowly missed out on securing his fifth world championship title this year, losing the crown to McLaren driver Lando Norris by just two points, making the upcoming season one of the most anticipated of his career. Also Read: “I had my gin and tonics on the other side”: Max Verstappen on not paying the drivers’ dinner bill in Abu Dhabi
