Vypen election result 2026: INC Tony Chammany wins Vypen seat by over 15600 votes

Tony Chammany of INC secures Vypen with 15648 votes, beating CPI (M) candidate MB Shyni.Vypen Assembly constituency, numbered 79, lies in Ernakulam district of Kerala and forms part of the Ernakulam parliamentary constituency. Formed through the 2008 delimitation from the former Njarackal seat (established in 1957), it covers the Vypen island and nearby coastal areas like Njarackal and Edavanakkad, home to around 165,000 electors.
