In Mandia, Sherman Ali Ahmed of TMC secured a decisive victory, polling 1,13,480 votes. He defeated Congress candidate Abdul Khaleque by a margin of 27,561 votes. AIUDF’s Rafiqul Islam finished third with 49,174 votes, as the constituency delivered a clear mandate in favour of TMC.
