Maharashtra Election Live Updates: 'Jab Congress mazboot hogi, desh majboor ho jaega,' PM Modi's scathing attack on Aghadi bloc in Akola rally
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed a rally in Akola as part of the BJP campaign in the run-up to the assembly elections, taking a dig at the Congress he said that neither the party nor its allies cared about Baba Saheb Ambedkar's Constitution nor the court nor the sentiments of the country.
"Congress is well aware, the more the country weakens, the more they will strengthen. 'Jab Congress mazboot hogi, desh majboor ho jaega'. Congress creates a divide between various castes. It never let our castes unite. If our castes do not stay united and stay conflicted with each other, Congress will take advantage of it. Congress will take away the rights of SCs. This is their conspiracy and character. You have to stay aware. Remember, 'Ek hai toh safe hai," said PM Modi.
"Wherever Congress forms government, that state becomes an ATM for the Congress' royal family. These days, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana have become their ATMs. In the name of elections in Maharashtra, they have looted Rs 700 crores from liquor sellers in Karnataka. You can imagine the loot once they win the elections," said the Prime Minister.

Jharkhand Election Live Updates: BJP squeezed Jharkhand like lemon for two decades, says Hemant Soren
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday, accusing the party of exploiting the state for nearly two decades. He also criticized the BJP-led central government for allegedly undermining India's federal structure.
Soren accused the BJP of "squeezing the state like a lemon" and "smashing" the backbone of economically weaker states. He further alleged that the BJP attempts to create "double engine governments" by destabilizing non-BJP governments.
In his own words, Soren stated, "The BJP-led Centre is destroying the federal structure of the country by creating 'double engine governments' through 'poaching of MLAs, MPs, and toppling governments'."
"BJP squeezed Jharkhand like a lemon in the last 20 years, but this has to end now. We feed the cow and they milk it. This cannot be allowed anymore. They plundered Jharkhand's wealth. It is a paradox that Jharkhand, rich in mineral resources, is one of the poorest states," Soren claimed in an exclusive interview with PTI.
"We are rich in resources - coal, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite - but our revenue collection is hampered by the central government's GST regime, which smashed the backbones of states like Jharkhand. It did nothing to address our financial needs," he alleged.

"The JMM-led alliance considers these intruders as its vote bank. In their greed for votes, they are protecting them, getting them enrolled on the voters' list, and helping them get Aadhaar and ration cards.
