Thomas Unniyadan of KC secures Irinjalakuda, a key Kerala constituency with 10212 votes, beating CPI(M) candidate Dr R Bindu.Centered in Kerala's Thrissur district around the historic Koodalmanikyam temple town, the Irinjalakuda Assembly constituency holds the 70th position among the state's 140 legislative seats, key to the Thrissur Lok Sabha region.
