Commission likely to announce poll dates for Bihar assembly elections.

“Our party strongly believes that the CM should be elected directly by people and not by selection. If you are not elected by people, you won’t get the feedback from the ground. So far there has been no discussion among partners about seat sharing. As we are losing more days, our Plan-B to put candidates against all JD(U) candidates is actually becoming Plan A. We are prepared to give a tough fight,” said an LJP leader in condition of anonymity.

Political parties in Bihar are busy chalking out strategies for the Assembly elections which are likely to be held in October-November this year though the Election Commission (EC) has not yet announced the poll dates.

All is not well in the Grand Alliance in poll-bound Bihar, its key constituent Rashtriya Lok Samata Party asserted on Wednesday and dropped ample hints that a possibility of exit from the opposition coalition and return to the ruling NDA could not be ruled out.
