8 ex-judges criticise Reddy meeting Lalu

Eight former judges Monday issued a joint statement criticising opposition VP pick & former SC judge B Sudarshan Reddy for his meeting with RJD neta Lalu Prasad, who has been convicted in the fodder scam.

The judges, S Khandeparkar, Ambadas Joshi, RK Marthiya, Devender Kumar Ahuja, SN Dhingra, Karam Chand Puri, PN Ravindran, and RS Rathore, questioned Reddy's judgment and sense of propriety, given his background and candidature for a constitutional office. TNN
