Aadujeevitham's budget revealed: Director Blessy confirms massive Rs 82 crore investment

Director Blessy has officially disclosed the staggering budget of the recently released survival drama, 'Aadujeevitham,' confirming earlier speculations.

In an interview with SS Music, Blessy revealed that the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer has been mounted on a whopping budget of Rs 82 crore, surpassing previous estimates.


While initial reports suggested a budget of Rs 80 crore, Blessy's confirmation sheds light on the ambitious scale of the project. Despite the substantial investment, 'Aadujeevitham' has shown promising returns within just four days of its release, grossing over Rs 65 crore worldwide.

Expressing confidence in the film's potential to be accepted by audiences across languages, Blessy explained in the interview that the decision to allocate such a significant budget stemmed from the team's belief in the story's universal appeal.

Amidst its impressive box office performance, 'Aadujeevitham' has garnered widespread acclaim, with audiences lauding its gripping narrative and Prithviraj Sukumaran's compelling portrayal.

According to the Sacnilk website, domestically, the film has collected approximately Rs 34 crores, while overseas earnings exceed 3.6 million, according to early estimates.

'Aadujeevitham', starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead as the character Najeeb, hit the big screens on March 28. The movie is receiving magnificent reviews from fans and celebrities who are calling it a masterpiece.
