Pankaj Udhasji was a batchmate in college: Anuradha Paudwal

Anuradha Paudwal who collaborated with musician and ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas on hits like Aaj Phir Tumpe featuring Madhuri Dixit and Vinod Khanna from Dayavan (1988) and Jo Geet Nahi Janma from Sangeet (1992) featuring Madhuri Dixit and Nitish Bharadwaj, besides the album Aashiyam, recalled memories together. After battling a prolonged illness, he passed away on February 26, 2024.

"Pankaji was a dear friend and a batchmate in college (St Xavier's, Mumbai), we entered the industry almost at the same time which makes it all the more special. He was an extremely humble and soft spoken person, a greatly loved artist. I was extremely fortunate to share so many duets with him which went on to become very popular. He will be greatly missed as a member of the fraternity," she said
