In a candid chat with Neha Dhupia on her talk show 'No Filter Neha', Ananya Panday addressed the long-standing rumors about her relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur. The actress mentioned that their connection goes beyond friendship and revealed that they are in constant communication with each other. When Neha probed further for details about their relationship, Ananya responded in a humorous way that left the host laughing. Ananya said, "I didn’t say we are just friends. You said, you are talking.."

Amidst all this, actor Chunky Panday, father of Ananya Panday, had addressed the relationship rumors surrounding his daughter last year, referring to it as "collateral damage." He shared his perspective on these rumors about his daughter's love life.



Chunky Panday acknowledged that such speculations are an inevitable part of being an actor in the glamour industry and cannot be avoided. In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he remarked, "No, no... this is bound to happen. They say you live by the soul, you die by the soul. We are in the glamour profession, and all this is bound to happen. This is collateral damage, it's inevitable. You can't prevent it."


When questioned about how Ananya appears with Aditya Roy Kapur, Chunky Panday mentioned that she has looked great with all her co-stars, from Tiger Shroff in "Student of the Year 2" to Kartik Aaryan in "Pati, Patni Aur Woh." He praised her for always complementing her on-screen partners and expressed that she has been fortunate in her journey.

Humorously, Chunky Panday responded to whether he ever rejected any of Ananya or his younger daughter's boyfriends, saying, "I do not need to; they only reject. I told them that whoever they choose, he has to be better than me."
