'Crew' US box office collections: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon starrer among TOP 10 highest earning films of the weekend

The heist comedy 'Crew', featuring leading stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, has stormed into the top of the US box office. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, renowned for his work on 'Lootcase', the film's debut has garnered attention for its notable success.

The film hit double digits at the Indian box office on Sunday, thus taking its domestic collections to the Rs 30 crore mark. meanwhile, the worldwide box office numbers are expected to shoot past the Rs 50 crore mark.



At the US and Canadian markets, 'Crew' made it to the top 10 highest-earning films over the Easter weekend. The film earned an estimated collection of $1.5 million, according to Comscore. With this collection, the film secured the 9th spot on the list of the top-earning films of the weekend.

It stands behind 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire', which earned an estimated $ 80 million, followed by 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' which earned $15.7 million.

The sci-fi epic 'Dune: Part Two' scored an estimated $11.1 million while 'Kung Fu Panda 4' raked in an additional $10.2. million. The horror film 'Immaculate' earned an estimated $3.3 million and 'Arthur the King' earned an estimated $2.4 million. 'Late Night With the Devil', came in a close 7th with a collection of $2.2 million.



Meanwhile, the Indian film 'Tillu Square' took up the 8th spot on the list with a collection of $1.8 million, followed by 'Crew' which earned an estimated $1.5 million.

Rounding off the tenth spot was 'Imaginary', earning a box office collection of $1.4 million.

"Crew" follows the story of three air hostesses -- played by Tabu, Kareena and Kriti -- working for an airline called Kohinoor that is on the verge of bankruptcy and their attempts to keep their heads above water.

The film also Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
